Exporting Contacts, Calendar, and Mail Folders to .pst File

When using the Import/Export Wizard within Microsoft Outlook to export messages, data is copied to a local PST file, leaving the originals on the Exchange server.

To Export the contents of your "Inbox" to a PST file, follow these steps:

1. Launch Outlook
2. From the File menu, select Import and Export...
File > Import and Export
3. Export to a File. > Click Next.

4. Select Personal Folder File (.pst); click next.

5. Highlight "Mailbox-Your Name". Check "Include Subfolders". > Click Next.

6. In the "Save Exported File as:" field use the Browse button to select the location and file name of this .pst file. Select "Replace Duplicates with Items Exported".

7. Hit Finish

When you click "Finish", the wizard creates the file (if it is new), runs the export, and closes the file.
