Macintosh Support Entourage 2004

INT highly recommends that users of Entourage 2004 Update to the included licensed version of Entourage 2008 with the purchase of an INT Hosted Exchange Mailbox.

If you use Apple's Macintosh and cannot, for some reason, update your software, your options are:

1. Microsoft Entourage 2004.
2. Outlook Web Access.
3. Any email client that supports POP3 or IMAP.
Note: This option does not give you access to MS Exchange features such as shared calendaring, backup, Public Folders, etc.

Prerequisites for Configuring Entourage 2004:

1. As our customer you are able to download a free copy of Entourage 2008 here.
2. Mac Office and Entourage version 11.2.1 or later. If you need to upgrade to this version of Entourage the download can be found here.

Setup Steps:

From inside Entourage 2004:

Accounts:

1. Go to the Tools menu.
2. click Accounts.
3. In the Accounts Dialog box, click on 'down' arrow next to the New button, "select Exchange...".

4. Click Configure account manually.

Edit Account Tab:
Account Name: Exchange Hosting - <your e-mail address - e.g. YourName@YourDomain.com>

Personal Information:
Name: John Doe
Email Address (Primary Email Address): <your e-mail address - e.g. YourName@YourDomain.com>

Server Information:
Account ID (company.username): username
Domain:MAIL
Password: enter your password here.

for users on Exchange Server 2007 use:
Exchange Server: http://pop.intinc.net/exchange/<your e-mail address - e.g. YourName@YourDomain.com>

for users on Exchange Server 2003 use:
Exchange Server: https://exchange.intinc.net

This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) — Check
Override default DAV port: 443 (default) — Unchecked by default

Edit Account

Advanced Tab:

Public Folder Settings:
Public Folder Server: https://exchange.intinc.net/public/

This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL) — Check
Override default DAV port: 443 (default) — Leave Unchecked

Directory Settings:
LDAP server: Leave Blank
This server requires me to log on — Checked by default
This LDAP server requires a secure connection (SSL) — Uncheck
Override default LDAP port: 3268 (default) — Unchecked by default
