Unable to Accept/Decline Meeting Requests or Garbled Messages Being
Sent From Blackberry

Problem: A meeting request comes to your BlackBerry handheld as an attachment, and there isn't an Accept or Decline option when you click the track wheel. Or, you send a message from your BlackBerry and when it's received the text is garbled.

Solution:

Go into the Calendar on your handheld:

1. Click the track wheel.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Wireless Synchronization.
4. Change to NO.
5. Save and Exit out of Calendar.

Go back into the Calendar:

1. Click the trackwheel.
2. Select Options.
3. Select Wireless Synchronization.
4. Change to YES (watch for activity by arrows moving back & forth - this will give indication to changes taking effect).
5. Save and Exit out of Calendar.
6. Send yourself a meeting request from Outlook or a test message.
