Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0 for Outlook Setup - Online

This will install the CRM connector into your Outlook client for Online use. You must have a CRM site that is enabled for Online use in order to use this functionality.

System Requirements:

Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook can be installed on computers that have any combination of the following:
Windows operating systems:
Windows 7
Windows Vista
Windows XP with Service Pack 3
Microsoft Office:
Microsoft Office 2007
Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 3

Installation Instructions:

1. Download the Outlook connector HERE:
2. Double click DynamicsCRMClient_1033_i386.exe
3. Browse to folder to extract install files to. i.e. c:\apps\crm

4. Open Windows Explorer and browse the folder with the extracted files, i.e. c:\apps\crm
5. Ensure Outlook is closed and double click on setupclient.exe

6. Leave "Install Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook (Recommended)" checked and click Next

7. Click "I accept this license agreement" and click Next

8. CRM will scan your system and see what needs to be installed for the connector to work. Click Install to start the installation of any needed components.

9. Click Yes

10. Click Next

11. Click Next

12. Confirm that there are no errors shown and that you follow the instructions from any warnings and then Click Next

13. Click Close

14. Ensure Outlook is still closed
15. Click on the Start Menu->All Programs->Microsoft Dynamics CRM 4.0->Configuration Wizard

16. Click Next

17. Select "An online service provider" and click Next

18. Enter your company CRM URL as shown in the CRM settings page in the control panel

19. Enter your username and password

20. Click Next

CRM

21. Confirm that there were no errors and then Click Next

22. Click Finish

CRM

23. Open Outlook and you will now be prompted to log into CRM. Enter your username and password and click OK

24. Within Outlook you should now see the CRM Outlook toolbar

25. You will also see a new folder called Microsoft Dynamics CRM to access CRM within your Outlook client
