    What Accounting software do you support?

    We recommend and support QuickBooks desktop for Windows and QuickBooks Online products and have several experienced certified QuickBooks ProAdvisors on staff. QuickBooks certifications involve completing comprehensive training courses and exams produced by Intuit, with periodic renewal required to maintain certification status. We also have experience in other standard accounting software.

    Does working with INT Business Solutions mean I no longer need a CPA?

    No. INT does not prepare income taxes or perform audits. Our role is to help you carry out and record the daily financial operations of your business so that you have a view of how your business is performing to make informed business decisions and so that there are fewer questions when it comes time to prepare your taxes. We work with you and your CPA as a team and can give your CPA direct access to your accounting records if you wish, assisting and coordinating to ensure they have the necessary information to prepare your returns. If you do not currently have a CPA or are looking to make a change, we can recommend one or more for you to consider.

    How do I transfer copies of my documents for you to handle my bookkeeping?

    Depending on the method you receive bills and statements from your banks and vendors and your specific needs, we can receive or retrieve them via our document portal, using document-fetching software, via e-mail, mail or a number of mobile apps. We will implement a combination that covers all the documents you need to share.

    Why shouldn't I use a company that says they will build me a site for $500?

    You should use caution when dealing with a company that says they will build you a website for $500. If you’re paying for a $500 website it will look and perform like a $500 website. This means the website is most likely built with a template and therefore not unique to you and your brand. There will be nothing custom about your website. Additionally, it is likely that your website will not function as well as it could. It may not be mobile-friendly and if it runs slow, you will lose clients. Understanding why a website costs as much as it does can cause a headache. That being said, keep in mind that a website represents you and your business. Our websites are built custom and made to fit your brand and business.

    How involved will I be in the process?

    This is up to you. Some clients want us to work and design and see everything when it’s done. Other clients ask for check-ups along the way and still others are involved throughout the design process. Either way, you will be allowed unlimited revisions until satisfaction.


    Do I need to be near one of your offices in order for you to support me?

    We are always just a phone call away! In the vast majority of cases, we can access your systems remotely to provide support and maintenance. In rare instances where hands-on help is required, we will dispatch onsite support.

    What size are the clients you work with?

    Our primary focus is on small and medium size businesses, who need technical support and a range of expertise without having their own tech staff. We also work with medium and larger businesses to augment their own team and provide project consultation.

    Can you help me back up my data in case my system crashes?

    We install a data backup solution and schedule backups to happen on a regular basis so your data is duplicated and restoration can be done.
